The association year repeats, but memory doesn't

An association year has a fixed rhythm. The general assembly falls in spring, dues are collected at a certain time, the season starts, and there are deadlines to meet toward the municipality, the federation, or the bank. Yet many boards discover the same tasks anew every year, as if for the first time, because the rhythm lives only in the heads of those who have been around a long time.
