With surveys you build your own questionnaires and forms and put the questions directly to your members. The answers gather in one place and are tallied automatically, so you move from a hunch to something you can act on.

Build the questionnaire that fits what you want to know

You assemble the questionnaire yourself around what you want answered. There are several question types to choose from, so you can ask for anything from a simple yes or no to a rating on a scale or a free-written answer. A satisfaction survey, a needs assessment and a sign-up form can all be made in the same tool.

Because you control the questions yourself, the survey becomes your own rather than a generic template. You ask exactly what the association needs to know, phrased in your own language.

Send it to members, not to the whole world

A survey is only as good as the answers it gets. Because the questionnaires are sent to members inside the association's own platform, you know who you're asking, and the answers come from the people it concerns, not from random outsiders. You can send to specific groups when a question only concerns part of the association.

That makes it both more relevant for members and more credible for you: you know the result reflects the association and not an open link that has ended up in the wrong places.

The results tally themselves

As the answers come in, they are gathered automatically. You don't need to type anything in or keep a spreadsheet on the side; the results are tallied so you can see the distribution right away. What would otherwise cost an evening of counting is ready by the time the survey closes.

It also means you can take the temperature regularly rather than only once a year. A short survey before the general assembly or after an event suddenly becomes something you can manage to run.

From answers to decisions

A result is only worth something when it's used. Because the answers sit gathered and tallied, you can take them straight into the board's work: as the basis for a decision, as an argument at a general assembly, or as a gauge of whether an initiative is hitting the mark.

And because the surveys live in the same platform as the rest of the association's data, the same access control and data processing apply as for member information. You avoid sending sensitive answers around via external services you don't control yourself.
